Volunteer with Us

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Hope Haven Farm Sanctuary!

Some of the most important volunteering for Hope Haven isn’t necessarily about working on the farm… most of it is spreading the word about Hope Haven. Sharing our stories with people and raising funds to keep the animals at Hope Haven happy and healthy… living a life free of pain or abuse.

If you like to get your hands dirty, we are exploring new ways to have you help on the farm … including open work days! Spring clean up and winterization are a couple of the times we offer these fun volunteer experiences. They require no commitment or training.  Just sign up and be ready to lend a hand! Open volunteer days will be advertised on our Facebook and Instagram pages and will include a link where you can sign up. We hope to offer these several time during our public season of May through October. Interested in volunteering more regularly?? Read on......

For safety and liability purposes, all farm volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, no exceptions.

We rely on our volunteers to help with farm chores, animal transport, donation pick up/delivery, tabling at local events, creating raffle baskets for events, and more.

We can use your brain too! How about helping at a special event or outreach activity? We are also in much need of help with public relations, event planning, FUNDRAISING, and legal expertise.

For more information on volunteering, please feel free to contact our volunteer coordinator at karen@hopehavenfarm.org.

We are looking for dedicated supporters who can commit to volunteering two shifts a month.

Volunteering at Hope Haven is hands- on, a little messy, and a lot of fun. You'll be right in the middle of daily farm life! Mucking stalls, raking the front yard, brushing munchkin, our dwarf horse, hanging out with the dogs, and watching the alpacas' antics. You'll also help us prep for tours and events, playing a real role in creating a safe, happy life for the animals. If you visited the farm and left wishing you could be part of it, this is your opportunity to step in, get involved, enjoy a small, dedicated team making a meaningful impact.

“NEVER, NEVER BE AFRAID TO DO WHAT'S RIGHT, ESPECIALLY IF THE WELL-BEING OF A PERSON OR ANIMAL IS AT STAKE.”
