Welcome to Hope Haven!

Our 2026 Season Has Started!!

Hope Haven is open for the season, and we're so excited to welcome visitors back to the farm.

This is a place where rescued animals are given the chance to live peacefully, form friendships, and simply be themselves - and people can step into that world, slow down, and experience a deeper connection with them.

Our tours are intentionally small, guided, and thoughtfully designed. Rather than a high traffic environment, we offer curated experiences that allow our animals to remain comfortable in their home while giving visitors a meaningful, up-close look at their lives, their personalities, and stories. Because of this, tour availability is limited - but each visit is truly special, educational, and memorable.

As we enter this new season, Hope Haven is growing! With the addition of our new property, we're beginning the next chapter of expanding our impact for rescued farm animals and the community. We're excited to share this journey with you and invite you to be part of what's ahead. Whether you join us for a tour, attend an event, or follow along online, your support helps make this important work possible and keeps our barn doors open to animals who need a safe place to land.

Hugs,

Karen and the Haven animals

ATTENTION LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS!

Are you seeking an inspiring speaker to engage your members at an upcoming meeting or event? Look No Further! The founder of Hope Haven is available to share insights and stories about the Sanctuary's mission. Whether you're interested in learning about our work, animal welfare, or environmental stewardship, we're here to spread awareness and inspire action. Please send us a message to discuss how we can collaborate and spread the mission of Hope Haven together!

Hope Haven is a 501(c)3 non-profit farm animal sanctuary nestled in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. Our mission is to rescue neglected pigs, goats, sheep, llama, donkey, alpaca, emu, and all farm birds. These animals have been surrendered at local animal shelters, confiscated by local humane agents and police, or saved from factory farms. They now live out their lives with comfortable housing, nutritious food, and companionship from others of their own kind. They also receive endless love and affection from the human components of the sanctuary!

Hope Haven is also a resource to raise public awareness about the plight of animals raised for human use. Here at the farm we promote a cruelty-free, plant-based lifestyle. Rather than focusing on the horrors and cruelty inherent in factory farming we want to showcase the individuality and personality of farm animals. Our hope is that when people realize these animals are sentient beings deserving of compassion they will make up their own minds to respect life and adopt a cruelty-free lifestyle.
